Left Lane Test
Since there is always much debate on whether people are driving in the “correct” lane or not, I have developed a short “test” to help you determine if you are driving in the proper lane, based on societal norms, NOT the black and white law. So here we go…
1 – How many people have you passed in the last 30 minutes?
- Nobody (0 points)
- 1-5 people (5 points)
- 6-10 people (10 points)
- Everyone you see (100 points)
2 – How many people have passed you on your right side?
- > 10 (0 points)
- 6-10 (5 points)
- 1-5 (10 points)
- I would sooner shoot them than allow that (100 points)
3 – How many MPH are you driving over the speed limit?
- 0, I always drive the speed limit (-1,000,000 points)
- 1-10 mph (5 points)
- 11-20 mph (10 points)
- 20+ mph (100 points)
4 – Has any of the following happened to you while driving the last 30 minutes?
- Flipped off (0 points)
- Lights flashed at behind me (-5 points)
- Horn honked (-10 points)
- Shot at (-1,000 points)
The lower the score, the more likely you are in the wrong lane. Simple math. I’ll be filing my patent application soon.
Look for an iPhone app for this soon so you can easily do it on the road. I’ll try to make it voice activated as well!
